In my efforts to "get it together" and write my thank you cards in response the amazing gifts we recieved for the wedding, I encountered a slight mailing problem that could only be solved by purchasing stamps. (Can't mail fo free yo!) I drove to a business called the "Mail Center" in an attempt to get stamps and not drive all the dang way to the post office.
When I approached the counter, my sentence went something like this: "Do you sa, as, a, stell samps? Ahem! Freak! Sorry! Do you ssseeelllll sssttaaaaaaaaammps?"
It immediatly brought me back to a conversation with my love last week that also got lost in my stuttering word gutter. "Hey babe, ha ha ha how wa wa wa was your day? Oh that's gre gre gre great!"
Please excuse.
It's just that my brain and the rest of me are having some sort of a missed connection lately.
Like a few nights ago when I (mid-sleep) became oddly confused as to the placement of the head of the bed against the wall. After having reached for what I thought was the wall behind my head, something did not seem quite right. The wall and the bed were about two feet apart now, and my dear husband was telling me "Turn, your fine, just turn and go back to sleep! TURN!"
In reality, in my confusion, had completely turned my body perpendicular to my husbands. My feet were pushing him off of the bed while I was reaching for the wall, which I mistaken thought was the head of the bed.
See what I mean by missed connection?
Again, please excuse.
