Taking the Short Bus.

This week,I am taking the short tempered bus.

One of the things I have learned about myself this week includes my problem with biting off more than I can chew, to prove that I can look like I chew with grace, when in reality I'm drowning in my own list of Too-Much-Crap-To-Do.

Did you catch that?  Help.  I'm drowning.  It's fine, it just leaves me a little short tempered is all.

Incident #1:

You know those people who always have something to say?  The ones who seem to really like the sound of their own voice?  Welcome to Juvenile Justice.  We are going to call this individual JD (John Doe).

The lecture was supposed to be terms and definitions.  It went something like this.  Term. Question from JD.  Term. Comment from JD. Term. Question from JD. Term.  Question, Comment, Question, and a side of confusion from you guessed it.  JD.

About 1 hour into the lecture, I had "had" it.  We are never going to get out of here, and I have to pee, and for the life of me can't find restroom in this building!  This is a college campus, where the heck is the ladies room for crying out LOUD!  He asked another question which was unimportant to the term, and the devil on my shoulder blurted, "REGARDLESS!  It's a mitigating factor REGARDLESS!  UGH!"

Yikes man.

Incident #2

I am unabashedly rude to solicitors.  I work at a law firm.  I have been instructed to deny all cold calls involving insurance, car warranties, cruises, and whatever the hell else you are sellin'.  Alesandro, you know I am talking about you, Mr. I-am-going-to-call-everyday-just-to-piss-you-off.  I don't want your dang service to ensure I am the top company listed on Google.  I'm serious.

Eric called yesterday, and we danced the same dance, which usually ends in me saying something along the lines of, "please take us off your list."  His response being that my boss (the one is is not the person in charge of insurance) was very interested in his company last year.  I said, "That's great, but if he was interested in your company, we would be using your company, am I correct?  I don't know how many times I have to say it, but do NOT call here."

Wowza, maybe my new years resolutions should have included being kinder!

Starting now!
